Lettering Book for Beginners: Book Review
I want to start off by saying, if I were to write a handwriting book, it would be similar to Lettering Book for Beginners. Here is why. First of all, I love how they explain everything to the teacher. From the small parts of the text to the lines on the paper, the child can be taught with proper terminology helping them not only build handwriting skills, but vocabulary as well.
The next feature I love was how simple and clean the pages are. I know kids love color and designs, but sometimes they just need to focus on the task at hand. Lettering Book for Beginners keeps it simple. All the child needs to focus on is the handwriting. Nothing to distract the child.
One feature I noted was Lettering Book for Beginners does not include any review sheets. In my opinion, this is great. I usually will let the child write. If I see one or two letters that need practicing, we will go back to the book and practice. Some children need more practice than others. By keeping it simple, this book just gets it.
I am really happy with my copy of Lettering Book for Beginners. I am thrilled to be offering 5 of you a free copy to love and cherish. This is a book for both adults and kids. A fun handwriting book for the whole family to enjoy.
My Overall Opinion:
I know I wrote this review for the children as I am a teacher. However, this book has a lot to offer both kids and adults. This is not your starter handwriting book, but rather a nice introduction to calligraphy. If you are looking to improve in your skills, I think Lettering Book for Beginners is a book the whole family can love and enjoy.
